Retail

This project explored how the Fred Segal brand could translate into an existing indoor retail environment while maintaining the identity and flexibility of its standalone locations. The design considers retail as a sequence of distinct yet connected experiences, allowing artist collaborations and Fred Segal’s own product lines to coexist without hierarchy.

The concept is organized as an alternating rhythm of immersive collaboration spaces and quieter, brand-focused zones. Collaboration areas are treated as immersive environments, using Fred Segal’s red and blue brand colors to create moments of intensity and expression. In contrast, the Fred Segal spaces are intentionally neutral, receding to foreground the clothing and establish visual relief within the larger retail sequence.
