Tech HQ

Commercial Office Space

This proposal envisions a 150-meter high-tech headquarters on a prominent peninsula in Qianhai Bay, Shenzhen.

The building is organized around a triangular footprint that responds directly to the site’s three primary access points. One corner lifts toward expansive views of the bay and the Shenzhen skyline, while another remains low to engage the public waterfront. The remaining corners rise to form generous entry points into a central atrium at the heart of the building.

This sculpted geometry creates a tower that is experienced differently from each approach. From the waterfront, the building steps down and meets the public realm with a low, civic presence. From across the bay, it rises as a taller, more iconic form, presenting a distinct face to the skyline.

As the tower spirals upward, landscaped terraces extend the ground-level garden vertically through the building, creating outdoor spaces at every office level. The shifting orientation of the floor plates frames varied views to the south, west, and north, enriching both the workplace experience and the building’s relationship to its surroundings.

Viewed from across Qianhai Bay, the headquarters reads as a dynamic and evolving form—one that presents multiple identities while remaining grounded in a clear and legible organizational idea.
